Adopted from Ark Animal Centre. An Africanis and Golden Retriever mix, which explains both the energy and the single-minded devotion to tennis balls. Loving, playful, and rarely still for long.

Home because of a Facebook post. Quattro has three legs and the gentlest temperament you are likely to meet. A German Shepherd, Ridgeback and Belgian Malinois mix, king of the house by general agreement, and happiest with his rope.

A Miniature Dachshund, and the true queen of the house. Small in stature, enormous in personality, devoted to her plush toys, and never happier than at the park with her brothers Charlie and Quattro.

The oldest of the seven, and comfortably the most vocal. Tortoiseshell, with pink toe beans and not a great deal of patience for her brothers and sisters, though she is sweet underneath it and will cuddle on her own terms.

Rescued in October 2024 with his brother Jack, after a thunderstorm separated them from their mother. Both were small enough to still need bottle feeding. Affectionate indoors, entirely single-minded outdoors, where the lizards, grasshoppers and birds take him seriously.

Rescued alongside his brother Luke, and the owner of some genuinely peculiar habits. Chief among them: sitting in front of the sprinkler at six o'clock sharp every evening, then coming back inside soaked through. Vocal when hungry, which is everyone's cue to feed him.
